How TV series have influenced fashion
We have already talked to you about the influence that TV series can have on the way we dress, citing the example of Wednesday, the cult Netflix series from 2022 that revived Goth fashion, recounting the events of the eldest daughter of the Addams family.
Today we explore this topic further, presenting other examples of how some stories have captivated us to the point of inspiring our looks, making us want to live like their protagonists!
Bridgerton
A series dealing with the misadventures of an English aristocratic family in the early 1800s, its setting and costumes instantly captured the hearts of viewers around the world, so much so that it brought back pastel tones, floral patterns and the corsets that characterise it.
Everyone wants to live like a true Lady, take tea, and, living out the intrigues of court, perhaps wearing our Alberta dress, perfect for such a setting.
Game of Thrones
Decidedly less romantic than the previous series, Game of Thrones is the cult of our era par excellence, having involved millions of people around the world. Inevitably, fashion was involved too: leather and metal details have returned with great force to our wardrobes, and hair has begun to be braided, imitating the intricate hairstyles of the protagonists.
Euphoria
Euphoria has a completely different style: the series tells of teenagers grappling with gender identity, betrayal, sexual confusion and drug problems. The protagonists' style varies greatly depending on the character, yet in general they are all united by sexy, sparkling and androgynous looks.
Our Mirto jacket is certainly the perfect accessory for creating looks inspired by the series and immersing yourself in its universe, real and engaging at the same time.
